FAQ
Frequently Asked
Questions.
Transparency is key to our partnership. Here are answers to the most common questions about our services, pricing, and methodology.
General & Partnership
Why do you require an audit before starting? +
We believe in "Diagnosis before Prescription." We cannot build a strategy without understanding your current data health, market position, and technical infrastructure. This ensures we don't waste your budget on guessing.
Do I own my data and ad accounts? +
100% Yes. Transparency is our core value. You retain full administrative access and ownership of your Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Analytics accounts. We work within your ecosystem, so you never lose your historical data.
Are there long-term contracts? +
We typically start with a 3-month initial engagement to allow enough time for strategy implementation and optimization. After that, we operate on rolling agreements. We want you to stay because of results, not a contract.
Do you outsource your work? +
Your core strategy and management are handled by our in-house team in London. For highly specialized tasks (like complex coding or niche backlinking), we collaborate with vetted global partners in the US and Canada.
How often will we communicate? +
We set up a dedicated communication channel (Slack/WhatsApp/Email) based on your preference. We have scheduled monthly strategy calls and bi-weekly performance updates, but we are available daily for urgent matters.
What is your pricing model? +
We primarily work on a retainer basis tailored to the scope of work and ad spend volume. In some cases, we offer a hybrid model with a performance bonus tied to ROAS or Revenue targets.
Who will be my point of contact? +
You will have a dedicated Account Strategist who is a certified expert. We do not use "account managers" who just pass messages; you speak directly to the person optimizing your campaigns.
How do you handle billing for ad spend? +
You pay Google/Meta directly via your own credit card linked to the ad account. We never touch your ad budget money; we only invoice for our management fee.
Do you work with small businesses? +
Yes, provided there is a product-market fit and a minimum ad budget (usually £1k+) to allow for data gathering. We love helping startups scale.
How do you measure success? +
We focus on business metrics: ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), and Net Profit. Vanity metrics like "clicks" are secondary.
Google Ads Management
What is the minimum budget for Google Ads? +
We recommend at least £1,000/month to allow Google's algorithm to gather enough data for optimization.
What are the benefits of a Google Partner? +
Access to Beta features, direct support lines to Google, and assurance that we meet strict performance standards.
Can you fix a suspended account? +
Yes, we can audit the account for policy violations and manage the appeal process through our Partner support channels.
Search vs. Display Ads? +
Search captures existing intent (people looking for you). Display generates awareness (showing banners to relevant audiences). We usually start with Search.
What is Performance Max (PMax)? +
PMax is an AI-driven campaign type that serves ads across all Google channels (YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Maps) from a single campaign.
What is Quality Score? +
A 1-10 rating of your ad relevance. Higher scores lead to lower costs per click. We optimize ad copy and landing pages to improve this.
What ROAS should I expect? +
It varies by industry, but we generally aim for a 400%+ (4.0) ROAS for e-commerce clients once campaigns are optimized.
Can you target my competitor's keywords? +
Yes, "Conquesting" campaigns allow us to show your ad when people search for your competitors. It's aggressive but effective.
How do you stop click fraud? +
We monitor for invalid traffic patterns and can implement third-party tools to block bots and fraudulent IP addresses.
Are YouTube ads necessary? +
For brand awareness and retargeting, yes. YouTube is the second largest search engine. It's crucial for building trust.
SEO & GEO (AI Search)
SEO vs GEO? +
SEO is for search engines (links). GEO is for Generative Engines (AI answers). GEO focuses on structure and authority so AI cites you.
Will AI replace Search? +
It won't replace it, but it will dominate it. By 2026, AI Snapshots will be the primary way users get answers.
How long for SEO results? +
It is a long-term play. Technical fixes show quickly, but authority and rankings typically take 6-12 months to mature.
Do you build backlinks? +
Yes, via our US partners. We focus on high-quality, relevant links that build domain authority safely.
Do you include content writing? +
We provide content strategy and briefs. We can recommend writers, but we believe the best content comes from your internal experts.
Do you do Local SEO? +
Yes. We optimize Google Business Profiles and local citations to help you rank for "Near Me" searches.
What about Voice Search? +
GEO naturally optimizes for voice because it focuses on direct, conversational answers which voice assistants prefer.
What is Zero-Click content? +
Content that answers the query on the SERP itself. It builds trust and brand recognition even if the user doesn't click immediately.
Do you do Keyword Research? +
Yes, but we focus on "Intent Research"—understanding what the user actually wants, not just the words they type.
Do you help with site migrations? +
Yes. Migrating without SEO help can destroy your traffic. We ensure all redirects and tags are preserved.
Email Marketing
Klaviyo vs Mailchimp? +
Klaviyo is built for e-commerce with deeper data integration for revenue tracking. Mailchimp is better for general newsletters.
What revenue % should email drive? +
Ideally 20-30% of total revenue. If it's lower, your automations are likely underperforming.
Flows vs Campaigns? +
Flows are automated (set once, run forever). Campaigns are one-off manual sends (e.g., newsletters). We build flows; you send campaigns.
Do you clean email lists? +
Yes. Removing inactive subscribers improves deliverability and open rates, keeping you out of the spam folder.
Is it GDPR compliant? +
Yes, we ensure all sign-up forms and data handling practices meet strict UK/EU GDPR standards.
Do you do Pop-ups? +
Yes. High-converting pop-ups are essential for growing your list. We design and A/B test them.
Do you do SMS marketing? +
Yes, Klaviyo supports SMS. It's powerful for urgent offers but must be used sparingly to avoid annoyance.
How do you segment lists? +
By behavior (purchased vs. viewed), value (VIP vs. new), and engagement (active vs. dormant) to send relevant messages.
Do you design the emails? +
Yes, we create mobile-responsive, branded templates for all automated flows.
What do you A/B test? +
Subject lines (for opens), call-to-action buttons (for clicks), and send times.
Global Expansion
Which market should I enter first? +
It depends on your product fit. The UK and US are high-competition but high-reward. We help you analyze demand before committing.
Do you help with company formation? +
Yes, our partners can help you incorporate a UK Ltd or US LLC/Corp to operate legally abroad.
Do you have logistics partners? +
Yes, we connect you with reliable freight forwarders for shipping bulk goods from Turkey to the UK/USA.
Do I need a multi-currency site? +
Absolutely. Customers rarely buy if the price isn't in their local currency. We help set this up on Shopify.
Do you offer translation? +
We provide localization strategies. Direct translation often fails; we ensure your messaging fits the cultural nuance of the target country.
What about VAT and Taxes? +
Our accounting partners specialize in cross-border e-commerce tax compliance (VAT/Sales Tax) so you stay legal.
US LLC vs UK Ltd? +
It depends on your target market. If selling in the US, an LLC is often preferred. We guide you to the right choice.
Do you offer warehousing? +
We partner with 3PLs (Third Party Logistics) and Prep Centers in the UK/USA to store your goods locally for fast delivery.
What are customs brokers? +
Experts who help clear your goods through customs borders. We connect you with them to avoid delays at the port.
Are international shipping rates high? +
They can be. We help you negotiate better rates through our partner networks or set up local fulfillment to reduce costs.
Meta & Social Ads
Organic vs Paid Social? +
Organic builds community but has low reach. Paid guarantees reach and is built for conversions/sales.
How did iOS 14 affect ads? +
It reduced tracking accuracy. We counter this by using the Conversion API (CAPI) for server-side tracking.
What creative assets do I need? +
High-quality images and short-form videos (Reels). We provide creative briefs to guide your content creation.
Do you do Retargeting? +
Yes, showing ads to people who visited your site but didn't buy is one of the highest ROI strategies available.
TikTok vs Meta? +
Meta is better for older demographics and stable conversion. TikTok is powerful for Gen Z and viral brand awareness.
What are Lookalike Audiences? +
We upload your customer list, and Meta finds new people who share similar traits and behaviors to your best buyers.
How does A/B testing work? +
We test different headlines, images, and offers against each other to see which combination drives the cheapest conversions.
Boosting Posts vs Ads Manager? +
Boosting is for likes. Ads Manager is for sales. We only use Ads Manager for precise targeting and tracking.
Video vs Image Ads? +
Both are needed. Video (UGC) is great for engagement and explanation. Images are great for retargeting and catalogs.
How do you scale budgets? +
We scale vertically (increasing budget on winning ads) and horizontally (finding new audiences) cautiously to maintain ROI.
